Mechanical docks are spring biased upwards and incorporate a hold down mechanism. Initial cost is lower. these docks are usually used in a light duty traffic environment. These docks are designed for climate controlled applications where the overhead door must but kept closed when not in use such as grocery warehouses.

Edge of Docks are idea for replacing cumbersome aluminium dock plates while increasing safety at the loading dock. Best used for light loads when the dock and truck heights do not differ more than a few inches. Available as Mechanical or Hydraulic with capacities of 20,000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. and various deck sizes.
